I believe in lots of fresh food, dairy and meats as a condiment rather than a meal + sweets in moderation.
As a gardener, I believe in eating a mostly plant-based diet and spending as much time as you can outdoors in the sunshine. Exercise is key – especially if you’re a food blogger creating and eating for a living!
How do I stay trim and healthy? FOOD. EXERCISE. SLEEP. + furry friends
FOOD = Pay attention to portion size – vegetables should always be the largest serving on your plate. YOU ARE what YOU EAT!
EXERCISE = Stay committed to a variety of weekly workouts. Mine include: hiking, walking to work, HIIT, Piloxing, Barre, kickboxing, weight training and yoga.
SLEEP = 8 hours, always.

I’m Della. I hail from the sunshine state – that would be Florida! As the baby of the household I demand daily playtime and really don’t have time to worry about my meals. I do love butter though.
